Dextrys is a global Technology Services firm offering clients onshore and offshore technology services. The Delivery organization is currently in need of Technical Architects to support projects that can fall into 3 different scenarios. The majority of our clients are within the financial services, insurance and high-technology industries and are largely focused on application development efforts across multiple platforms including Java, .Net, Embedded and Firmware.
1. Scenario one is where the overall project delivery/development will be conducted completely offshore and this architect will need to manage progress and deliverables to meet client needs
2. Scenario two will be an integrated team where Functional and Technical Specifications will be conducted in an onshore approach and the development efforts will be completed offshore
3. This scenario will require some level of technical architecture to be completed onshore and the development will take place offshore - management of those activities and development will be done remotely by the architect.
The teams associated with these projects will range anywhere from small teams of 4-6 resources in a strictly onshore environment and get as large as 20+ in some offshore scenarios
Being able to strike the balance between client relationship and managing/facilitating an off shore development team. This resource will also need to balance between different technical environments and be able to demonstrate the flexibility required to be involved in multiple projects at once
Client Delivery activities that will include
1) Client interaction
a) Understanding the clients environment and technical challenges
b) Be able to work with the client to define a high-level conceptual architecture and drive into the technical details to deliver a technical development specification
c) Act in a liaison position between the clients and an offshore development team
2) Pre Sales efforts:
a) Client visits and understanding challenges
b) Draft proposals and respond to RFP's
c) Travel to client site for pre sales meetings, working sessions for architecture and status meetings
Travel could require between 25 - 100% to clients
， 10+ Years to technical experience with a demonstrated architecture background
， Strong understanding of web based applications in java and or .net
， Team Leadership - managing teams to meet deliverables
， Experience working an outsourced and or offshore development scenarios
， Solid knowledge of Webservices, XML, SOAP
， Solid knowledge of Test Automation
， Demonstrated sense of project ownership with the ability/desire to see efforts through the lifecycle.
， Flexibility - ability to work on multiple efforts at once that can range from pre sale activity,
