Final Face-off Competition and Luncheon
Two finalists competed with
each other in this final ceremony at MIT Faculty Club. Each team
presented their business plan to the entire audience and a judge
panel.
- The first winner:
InLight
(Electronic interactive whiteboards targeted for the educational market, from
Gibbons Middle School, Bedford High School, Acton Boxborough High School)
- The runner-up:
Longevity (A high quality organic Chinese restaurant aimed for the health of the general public, from
Andover High School)
- The Most Creative Idea:
NeeHelp (Online tutoring website as
a virtual resource center for students, from Newton South High School,
Quincy High School, Algonquin Regional High School and Frank High School)
- The Best Presentation:
Grub Gone Green (solar-powered
and environmentally friendly robot that manually destroys pesky grubs
on lawns, from Bedford High School, Wellesley High School, Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School)
