Dr. Nanying Yin is VP of Technology at Airvana Inc., a wireless communication equipment provider, where he is responsible for new product initiatives and development. Before joining Airvana, Dr. Yin was a Founder and Executive Vice President at PhotonEx Corporation, a 40 Gigabit optical networking equipment provider.
From 1997-1999, Dr. Yin was Director of Internet Core Router Group, Nortel Networks. From 1995 to 1997, Dr. Yin served as Director of Networking Technology of Bay Architecture Lab, Bay Networks, Inc., a data networking equipment provider. Prior to Bay Networks, he held engineering positions at Wellfleet Communications and Motorola Inc.
Dr. Yin holds 20 U.S. patents and received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York.
